As many of you know, I have participated in Pedal The Cause as a memorial of the loss of my Brother In Law, Scott Kleinman, to Brain Cancer in 2014. This year, we honor him on the 10th anniversary of his passing and remember him for the grace and determination he showed throughout his fight. We honor too, the team at the Siteman Cancer Center who fought every day with Scott, side by side, to treat his disease, always searching for a cure. Scott also participated in a number of clinical trials. While these trials did not ultimately save his life, the results fueled additional research, which is critical to finding new innovations to treat patients like Scott. I am proud to join Pedal the Cause in the fight against cancer. Pedal the Cause is more than the region's largest cancer fundraiser. It's a way of life, a celebration, a family and a movement fueled by the courage to end cancer.
