Pedal the Cause

Why I ride: My grandpa fought cancer on and off for 24 years. He, along with my whole family, loved participating in Pedal the Cause. I am proud to be riding in Pedal the Cause for the 7th year on Team 2112: Hammer Time to honor my grandpa and all those who have battled and are still battling this disease. Even though we lost him to cancer in 2016, he is in our hearts every time we get on our bikes to fight against cancer and find a cure. The weekend of Pedal has always been so special because it falls over my grandpa and my shared birthday weekend. Although he is not here to blow our candles out with me, I ride in memory of the 7 years I was able to do so.
