I ride in memory of my dad. Nearly a decade ago, cancer took him from us, yet his spirit endures through the lives he touched. He was determined to fight the disease and to prevent others from enduring the same ordeal. In a final act of generosity, he gifted his remains to the SLU School of Medicine, aiming to enhance the training of future doctors to help future patients. I ride to honor his memory and to continue his mission by fundraising for cancer research.
Cancer sucks. It profoundly affects the patient, their loved ones, and the wider community. He missed significant family milestones - graduations, promotions, weddings, and the arrival of grandchildren. I am motivated by the hope that, through our efforts, others might face a brighter future. In honor of Pat, I invite you to support the ongoing fight against cancer by contributing to research, thereby keeping his spirit alive.
100% of your donation will fund lifesaving research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
