I am proud to join Pedal the Cause in the fight against cancer. Pedal the Cause is more than the region's largest cancer fundraiser. It's a way of life, a celebration, a family and a movement fueled by the courage to end cancer. I ride for far too many family and friends that we have lost to cancer, including my step-mother Carolyn, my cousin Todd, and long-time family friend Sue. Sadly, this year I must add another name to my list. In the fall of last year, our next door neighbor's daughter, Angie, lost her long battle with cancer. She was a young mother of two beautiful daughters and left behind a loving husband, parents, and many friends.
