I am proud to join Pedal the Cause in the fight against cancer. Pedal the Cause is more than the region's largest cancer fundraiser. It's a way of life, a celebration, a family and a movement fueled by the courage to end cancer.
Cancer sucks and it became more real to me personally when we lost my grandma in September of 2022. She had the most positive outlook on life every day until the very end and always made everyone feel like they were the most important in that moment. Since her passing numerous other friends aquantencses and relatives have began their own battles. I chose to ride in hopes that one day families and friends will no longer have to worry about losing someone that's as special to them as my grandma was to me.
