I am proud to join Pedal the Cause in the fight against cancer. Pedal the Cause is more than the region's largest cancer fundraiser. It's a way of life, a celebration, a family and a movement fueled by the courage to end cancer.
This year is especially important to me -- as I'm riding and fundraising for my 10th year AND cancer impacts everyone. I ride for those who have fought bravely and valiantly, but lost the battle with cancer - Uncle Clay, Grandma Betty, Grandma Stella, Walter, Yianni, and more. I also ride for those who are fighting the battle every day, including my dad, Chet. It's a reminder to all of us to take care of your health and stay on top of preventative testing.
