Wow - he's doing it again?!?!?!?! I am humbled to be able to join in the 2024 Pedal the Cause ride to benefit the fight against cancer. Thankfully I have a close friend who gave me the last "push" I needed to take this on again. I truly believe God worked through this person for further encouragement. So very thankful for her and so many others in my life. We all have our aches and pains, but I cannot imagine adding cancer on top of these. But we can accomplish all things through Christ, who strengthens us (paraphrasing the holy Gospel) - no doubt at all.
Look at all the numerous diseases we have been able to conquer in our history - and although tons of progress has been made on successfully fighting so many various cancer types out there, the research (and solutions) are not done! I am so glad to do this with my work family, with the support of all my friends and family. Pedal the Cause is more than the region's largest cancer fundraiser. It's a way of life, a celebration, a family and a movement fueled by the courage to end cancer.
I know so many of you want to see me "suffer" during the ride - I get it, you fun-loving people!! And that is what makes it fun, knowing all of you are with me! And I know that is how people with cancer can be strong in the fight - knowing so many others are with them!!! Please support my efforts by donating to my fundraiser, and give with confidence knowing that 100% of your donation will fund lifesaving cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children's Hospital. I want to blow my goal out of the water - not for my sake but for this great cause - give hat you can, no matter how big or small - ALL giving is truly appreciated!!!
