I am proud to join Pedal the Cause in the fight against cancer. Pedal the Cause is more than the region's largest cancer fundraiser. It's a way of life, a celebration, a family and a movement fueled by the courage to end cancer.
I recently lost my grandfather to cancer. He was a big deal in the international cycling community. I couldn't make it back to Northern Ireland for his funeral (streamed it from the call room while on call), so I'm doing the 30-mile route in his memory.
