Pedal the Cause

Jason Hill was an amazing person who was diagnosed with a rare head and neck cancer at the age of 40.  Soon after diagnosis, while on almost continuous treatment, he began riding in Pedal the Cause - right from the beginning.  Soon after that first ride he recruited some friends and formed Brain Trust - a reference not only to the brilliance of the riders on his team and that of the researchers who utilize the money we raise, but also to the brain metastases he developed as just one of the many hurdles he jumped on his journey.  Jason died in 2016 after five years with the disease... but Brain Trust lives on, and rides in his memory.  We are all touched again and again by the disease of cancer, and we're proud to do our part to help raise money that will eventually lead to A World Without Cancer.  We have to believe it.

So far Brain Trust has raised a total of $106,869.70 and we'll keep riding and fundraising until we reach our next milestone of $200,000 - and beyond!  Please help us by donating to our team, or to one of our riders.  Jason would be proud.
